To "pair" your wireless keyboard with your iPad:

1. On the iPad, select the "Settings" app
2. Click on "General"
3. Turn on "Bluetooth"
4. Press the silver button on the right side of the keyboard to turn enable "discovery mode"
5. The wireless keyboard should appear on the iPad as a discovered drvice
6. Click to select the found device to pair it with the iPad
7. When prompted, type the pairing code on the keyboard

Your keyboard will be paired with the iPad if you enter the code correctly.

Once you set up the paired, the standard on-screen keyboard will not appear.


You will need to turn off pairing or turn off the wireless keyboard if you wish to take the iPad with you or if you wish to use the on-screen keyboard again.
